Practice in the safe manual handling of loads to include:-
Lifting to and from ground level/height/bench level
Team Lifting
Pushing/Pulling
Lifting bags/sacks or other loads appropriate to the workplace

There are no pre-requisites for this course, however participants should be capable of manual handling, participants will be required to self assess their ability to carry out the manual handling as part of the course.

Everyone should do this course, manual handling injuries are responsible for 1 in 3 of all workplace accidents.
