How to make emergency calls.
CPR - airway, rescue breaths, chest compressions, barrier devices
Use of defibrillators
The recovery position
Recognising and dealing with cardiac arrest
Recognising and dealing with heart attack
Aspirin administration
Recognising and dealing with choking
Recognising stroke
The safe airway / recovery position

Each student will receive :
A pocket mask, with case and gloves.
A face shield on a key ring.
A PHECC CFR manual
Red emergency card
FAST assessment card
CFR report form

There are no pre-requisites for this course

Everyone should do this course.

Certification by AHA, IHF, PHECC (Recognised institution -Respond Training or Safety Solutions).  This is especially useful for those that require and international qualification. For example those traveling to the US on a J1 Visa. The PHECC element giving a CFR Cert is optional, but highly recommended. Certification is valid for 2 Years.
