To give you the skills and the confidence to deal with cardiac arrest, heart attack, stroke and choking in adults, children and infants and to deal with other common infant / child medical issues. This is aimed at those that all ready have children. 

How to make emergency calls.
CPR - airway, rescue breaths, chest compressions, barrier devices
Use of defibrillators
The safe airway / recovery position
Falls, breaks and concussion
Cuts, bleeding ,burns
Respiratory issues
High temperatures / febrile convulsions
Allergies / poisons

Each student will receive :
A pocket mask, with case and gloves.
A face Shield on a key ring.
A Paediatric First Aid manual
Red emergency card
FAST assessment card

There are no pre-requisites for this course

All parents should be able to give immediate first aid to their children. This course is suited to those with children. Our New parent and childminder course is better suited to those without children.  

Certification by Venturesafe. If PHECC or AHA/IHF certification is required this can be arranged but it will add approx 2 hours to the course.
