Manual Handling Training
The manual handling training course is designed to provide a thorough understanding of manual handling and aims to ensure that employees understand the hazards and how to reduce the risk of injury. The knowledge gained from this course will help you to stay safe when carrying out various manual handling tasks at your workplace. The training course will also give you an understanding on how to risk assesses a situation.

On completion of this course participants will be able to:

Practice in the safe manual handling of loads to include:-
Lifting to and from ground level/height/bench level
Lifting bags/sacks or other loads appropriate to the workplace
There are no pre-requisites for this course, however participants should be capable of manual handling, participants will be required to self assess their ability to carry out the manual handling as part of the course.
